New Scheme Of Study Course Under ICWAI

Stage I

Foundation Course

1. Enroll for Foundation Course after passing 10+2 or any examination equivalent thereto, recognized by the Institute. (17 years of age)

2. Obtain Postal Coaching completion certificate

3. Pass Foundation Course.

4. Graduation in any discipline other than Fine Arts are Exempted from Foundation Course.

Stage II
Intermediate Course

* Enroll for Intermediate Course on passing CWA Foundation or Graduation in any discipline other than Fine Arts

* A registration is valid for a period of 7 (seven) years from the date of registration.

* No candidate shall be allowed to appear for both groups of Intermediate Examination unless he /she has successfully completed

(a) 18 months period after Registration

(b) Computer Training Programs and in Group Discussion and Business Communications as may be specified from time to time (unless he/she is exempted).

(c)Obtain Postal Coaching completion certificate

* Register for 3years of Practical Training on any time after enrolling Intermediate Course.

Stage III

FINAL

1. Enroll for FINAL Course after passing Intermediate Exam.

2. No candidate shall be allowed to appear for both groups of Final Examination unless he /she has successfully completed18 month’s period after Registration for FINAL .

3. Complete 15 day modular training during final course

4. Dissertation – 5000 words for obtaining coaching completion certificate, either in Group III or IV whichever is later

Appear and Pass Final Exams and after completion of 3 years of Practical Training & be eligible for Membership.

Dates to Remember:

1. Last date for seeking admission/ enrolment to CWA FOUNDATION / INTERMEDIATE / FINAL for June exam is 5th Dec.of previous year; for Dec exam is 5th June.

2. For Submission of Postal Coaching papers by answering the test papers provided along with the study materials 10th Feb for June exam & 10th Aug.for Dec exam

Last date for Exam application 10th Apr for June exam & 10th Oct for Dec exam

SUBJECTS FOR STUDY AT VARIOUS LEVELS

The descriptive question type Exam, for 400 marks. The Pass mark is minimum 40% in each subject of the Foundation Course and an aggregate of 50% of total marks of the Foundation Course
Stage I Foundation Course	Paper 1 Organization and Management Fundamentals Paper 2 Accounting Paper 3 Economics and Business Fundamentals Paper 4 Business Mathematics and Statistics Fundamentals
This consists of 2 Groups 6 Subjects / papers of 100 Marks each. The Pass mark is minimum 40% in each paper and 50% in aggregate of all papers of the respective Groups.
Stage II Intermediate Course	Group I : Paper 5: Financial Accounting Paper 6: Commercial And Industrial Laws & Auditing Paper 7: Applied Direct Taxation Group II: Paper 8: Cost And Management Accounting Paper 9: Operational Management & Information System Paper 10: Applied Indirect Taxation
This consists of 2 Groups 8 Subjects / papers of 100 Marks each. The Pass mark is minimum 40% in each paper and 50% in aggregate of all papers of the respective Groups.
Stage III FINAL	Group: III Paper 11: Capital Market Analysis nd Corporate Sector Paper 12: Financial management and International Finance Paper 13 : Management accounting and Strategic management Paper 14: Indirect and Direct tax Management Group: IV Paper 15: Management Accounting Enterprise performance Management Paper 16: Advance Financial Accounting & Reporting Paper 17: Cost Audit and Operational Audit Paper 18: Business Valuation Management
